This was a very important match for the both sides because whichever side win the match would go the fourth to the table and the loosing side would come on fifth. Another thing for the Kolkata Knight Riders was that it was heard that Shaib Akhtar would plat this match.And Kolkata Knight Riders win the toss and chose to bat first and Ganguly said Shaib is playing then it was a great roar from the people of Kolkata Knight Riders supporters.
So the opening pair for Kolkata Knight Riders was was Salman Butt and Chopra.They had a partnership of 35 in 6 overs but it was slow.Then Ganguly came to Bat,hit a six to free hit and got out bowled in the same over.Salman But scored 48 of 44 and David Hussey scored 31 of 31.They were not able to hit enough boundaries in the last over.So they were able to make 133 with the loss of 6 wickets.
So this was a big target for the Delhi Daredevil looking at their bating line-up.Shaib Akhtar playing his first match of the tournament was to bowl the first over then he took the wicket of Sehwag in just the second bowl.Then his next over he got the wicket of Gautam Gambhir who is the highest wicket taker of the tournament.Then in his 3rd over he took the wicket of Divilliears and Tiwary and they were know 28 for 4down.And Delhi Daredevils did not recover from that and they lost the match by 23 runs.Shaib Akhtar also got the man of the match.
