Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ganguly won the toss and chose to bat first.Thier was a little bit change in the Deccan Chargers side that Afridi was not playing and Vaas was back from home.Kolkata Knight Riders lost Salman Butt in the first over.Then Ganguly came on to bat.The second wicket partnership made 69 and then Chopra got run out when score was 73 in 10.1 overs.Then David Hussey came on to bat.They both put up parnership of 102 in just a space of 8overs.Ganguly scored 91 and faced 57 balls only with 11fours and 5sixes. David Hussey scored 57 not out of just 29 with 4fours and 3sixes.Kolkata Knight Riders put up a total 204 in their 20overs with the loss of 4wickets.Know for winning the game Deccan Chargers required some good knocks from their prime batsmen's.But Gibbs got out early and when Gillchrist started to hit boundaries he also got out.In 8.1 overs they were 63 with the loss of 4wickets.So in the whole innings nobody was able to play as good innings as Ganguly played but only Vanugopal Rao scored 71 not out with 6 sixex.But nobody else supported him and they loss the match by 23 runs.Dinda took three wickets.Ganguly got the man of the match.
